Starting Final Fantasy XIII 2

I’m going to start by saying….I should have went for Mass Effect 3 if I wanted instant gratification. If you continue to read pass this point just know this is part 1 I’ve played less than 2hrs and I’m going to finish this game asap.  

Moving on, the game is beautiful graphically and it starts you off with an epic boss fight with the Lady I fell in love with, Lightning, kicking ass and taking names. So far the battle engine is the same and it still lacks the ability to switch control to other party members while your in battle. I love the addition of contextual interactions and quick time scenes. They took a note from Mass Effect and gave you the ability to vary your response to other characters thru a menu constructed in a similar fashion. 

Playing the first 30 minutes I was ready to quit my job and dedicate the next 60hrs to exploring this game….and then I met Serah, Lightnings little sister.  Her voice sucks, she’s too timid and I simply hate the idea that she is my lead character right now. Flat Out! I could really go on about how unattractive this portion of the game is as a whole right now but I’ll just wait till I can post some video for you. Random Game Thoughts

So I’ve been trying to finish this mountain of games I have at my house and figured out if I just concentrated on 1 game maybe I’ll make some head way so I started with Final Fantasy XIII, which I’d like to add is getting way better after Chapter 11. I played for maybe two hours when I decided that i was going to play Grand Theft Auto 4, which I have not finished either. Before I could even get into the game good I realized that I have no guns or money which let me know my little cousin decided to play my game and totally screw me over. Thanks Cuz! Moving on to Red Faction Guerilla was cool but since I hadn’t played that game in like 6 months I totally forgot how to play got frustrated and went to bed…finishing nothing…and its all your fault.

Master Chief

Halo’s Master Chief was spotted escorting Beyonce and Jay Z as they went on one of their many shopping expeditions. Where were they shopping where they needed the strength of a Spartan?

Snow, well known from Final Fantasy XII, was busted getting into a fist fight with a harrassing patron at a San Diego night club.  The guy was left unconcious and is curently listed in stable condition.

The Inc Disease is real

What’s going on people? So the Inc disease has captured me and I have a stack of great gamesthat I just can’t et back to. Mass Effect 2 is at the top of the list. I love the entire Mass Effect series but it couldn’t compare with the hype of Final Fantasy XIII. Have to say the hype becasue the story seems to go in too many directions to make me fall in lovewith any 1 character. And now FFXIII has taken a back seat to a game I haven’t even played, Halo ODST. Halo was only purchased so that I Can play the Halo Reach Beta which has now consumed all of my gametime. So what game is eating up your game time?

Losing Time

I have picked up the new Final Fantasy XIII and it beautiful but I can’t seem to keep track of time. Everytime I say I’m going to stop in an hour 3 hours go by. So far its been 10 hrs since I said I was going to stop playing . Here are some great screen shots of my current area.
